C.H.I.L.D. is a non-profit organization made up of parents and caregivers dedicated to providing
support for children who are classified under IDEA, Section 504, or facing a learning
challenge. Our goal is to provide a solution-oriented forum for families, educators, and administrators to effectively communicate and collaborate and help bridge the gap between special education and general education. The C.H.I.L.D. Board also serves as Verona’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC).
Through fundraising programs and private donations, we are able to generate contributions earmarked for programs, presentations, and initiatives designed to support and advocate for children with individual learning differences.
We are fortunate to be part of a school district that embraces learners of all abilities. Verona C.H.I.L.D. is committed to fostering the relationship between school and community in an effort to ensure our children have every opportunity to achieve their goals.
