Scholarships

C.H.I.L.D. offers annual scholarships to H.B. Whitehorne Middle School and Verona High School students that have an Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P.)

Verona High School Seniors

Two scholarships are awarded to high school seniors from Verona High School who have an I.E.P. The application is mailed home every year in March to students who qualify, and it is also available on the school’s Naviance page. Students are required to submit an application and essay for consideration for this scholarship.

H.B. Whitehorne Middle School Students

These gift awards are chosen by teachers based on the criteria of being helpful to fellow students, teachers and administrators. The recipients of these awards have also persevered academically and socially and have proven to be good role models of what a middle school student should be. The awards are given to four H.B. Whitehorne Middle School students.
